IT’S ONE DIRECTION NEW SINGLE DAY!
The band’s brand new track “Perfect” has now premiered this morning, becoming the third track from “Made in the A.M.” that we’ve heard, following on from number one “Drag Me Down” and “Infinity”.
The song is called “Perfect”, and of course, it completely is.
Back in March, Zayn Malik made the decision to leave One Direction after four years.
Though his departure was a shock, it didn’t come as a huge surprise to many, who sensed that Zayn hadn’t been happy for a while.
Zayn’s reason for leaving the band was to become “a normal 22-year-old”, but it was speculated that Zayn would be starting up a solo career.
We’re still waiting to hear a Zayn solo track, but we can bet that it won’t be anything like One Direction’s music, as according to Liam Payne, Zayn just wasn’t into that.
Talking to Good Morning Britain yesterday Liam said of Zayn’s departure: “One Direction was never Zayn’s kind of bag if you know what I mean.”
It sounds like Zayn’s time to quit the band was always on the horizon, as “his taste in music was always a bit different, which I guess is what drove him to do what he did in the end – which is not necessarily a bad thing,” Liam explained.
Zayn has previously said that he’s excited to make “real music”, as opposed to the stuff that One Direction come out with…
The thought of a One Direction member quitting the band could have once been seen as the end of the world, but Liam insists that it’s all good: “Everyone’s come out fine from it, thanks to our beautiful fans. And he’s off doing what he loves as well, so both parties are winners in the end of a disaster of a situation. It’s all good.”
What do you guys think?
It was revealed back in April that Louis Tomlinson was going to launch his own record label. And now, Louis has come up with a title for his new venture.
According to The Sun newspaper, Louis has taken all of the appropriate action to secure the title “Triple Strings Ltd” for the record label.
Louis is set to launch the record label alongside Sony’s lawyer, Michael Smith and One Direction’s legal adviser, Lawrence Engol. Of course, the record label will be a part of 1D boss Simon Cowell’s “Syco Entertainment.
It has been rumoured that Louis has already signed his first act to the label, that being X Factor finalist Jack Walton. According to reports, Louis has also signed an unnamed girl group to Triple Strings Ltd.
When the news was first announced back in April, Louis explained: “This is something I’ve wanted to do for some time.
“To be given the opportunity to potentially give new artists a platform is an incredible feeling. I hope to sign some really exciting new artists down the line.”
Now that there’s only 5 months until One Direction take their year long break, we expect that Louis won’t be having too much downtime with his new project starting up.
We wonder if any of the other boys will find something new to occupy their time?
As always in October, there’s plenty of exciting One Direction news around, with a new single and new album details quickly spreading.
Late last week, the band’s next single was confirmed to be “Perfect”, with the cover for the track looking like this.
But it’s not just the name of the band’s new single that has been revealed… Nope, the whole tracklisting has been put out!
“Drag Me Down”, “Perfect” and “Infinity” will be joined by 14 other tracks on the deluxe edition of “Made In The A.M.”, and 1D revealed the names of the new songs in a series of Snapchat clips over the weekend.
So, are you ready for this?
The “Made In The A.M.” tracklisting is as followed:
2.Drag Me Down
5.End of the Day
6.If I Could Fly
7.Long Way Down
10.What A Feeling
11.Love You, Goodbye
12.I Want To Write You A Song
15.Walking in the Wind
Some of those titles sound amazing and it makes us VERY VERY excited for the new album to be released.
There’s still around a month to go though, with the 13th November release date, but it’s likely we’ll be hearing some more new music before then.

The release of One Direction’s latest album is near.
The boys are set to release “Made In The A.M.” on 13th November, which is coincidentally the same day as Justin Bieber releases his fourth album “Purposes”.
Earlier this week, Justin Bieber hit out at One Direction for having their release day on the same date as his, telling a New Zealand radio station: “They’re not really going on the road much, but we’re talking about them right now, so it gives them some promo, right?.
“So, that’s probably why they did it… I think it was strategy on their part because my release date was first. But whatever. It’s whatever. It’s going to be fun. I’m excited to see what happens.”
Although Justin Bieber and his Belieber’s think that 1D did it for publicity, we’re not buying.
However, that’s not the only news surrounding 1D’s release date – as they’re actually releasing it on Friday 13th. Some people may believe that this is bad luck straight away, but One Direction aren’t that superstitious.
Louis Tomlinson told STV: “I’m not superstitious, I think we’ll be alright.
“I’ve had many birthdays on Friday 13th and [they have] always been alright actually, so I wouldn’t worry about that.”
We’re sure they’ll be fine! After all, what’s the worst that could happen?
