Liam Reveals Writing Work On One Direction’s Fifth Album Has Begun

The world of One Direction has been a sad Zaynless place recently.
Since Zayn left, it’s all we’ve been able to think about… Until now!

Some exciting news has been revealed by Liam Payne on Twitter – work on the fifth album has begun!

It’s likely the band’s fifth album, their first as a four-piece, will be released around November as usual, and the band have already started writing tracks for it.

Yesterday, Liam tweeted: “1st day writing the album it’s gunna be a great day!

He’s also tweeted: “Huge day of writing so excited the team never stop!

What do you think the fifth album might be called?

One Direction Give Their First Interview As A 4-Piece “We Have So Much More To Achieve”

Talking to The Sun, the boys gave their thoughts on the future of the band for the first time since Zayn left in March.

In the interview with The Sun, Liam described the recent events as “a tough few weeks” while Louis reassured fans the band had a big future ahead of them.

It’s been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago,” said Liam. “We’re gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four-piece, we’re feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever.

Meanwhile, Louis said: “All four of us are 100% committed to staying in One Direction and we want to thank the fans for being so incredible during this time.

We have so much more we still want to achieve. Our gigs in South Africa were some of the biggest the country has ever seen, so it’s exciting for us to keep breaking records for British music worldwide.

The first official photos of the band as a four-piece have also been released, one of which is this stage selfie:

LISTEN: Zayn Malik Solo Track “I Won’t Mind” Leaked Online

It’s been less than a 2 weeks since Zayn left One Direction, and already we’ve heard some solo work from him.

A solo track he’s recorded with producer Naughty Boy has surfaced online, but we don’t know if it was recorded before or after his departure from the band, because he’s been in the studio with the producer several times before.

A leaked demo version of “I Won’t Mind” by the pair was leaked on Soundcloud, but has since been removed. However, you can check out a YouTube version below:

Hang on a second, we’re a little bit emotional. Zayn’s beautiful voice sounds INCREDIBLE on this.

It’s not the first we’ve heard about Zayn’s solo work since he split from the band, with it recently being reported that he’d signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco Music label.

An insider told The Sun: “Zayn is now the most in-demand solo artist in the world. There’s huge excitement as he’s the first member who will be able to release on their own.

Simon was very understanding about him leaving the band but quickly made it clear he would stay a Syco artist for his future projects.

They also reported that Zayn’s debut album would be out in early 2016, so it wouldn’t clash with the release of One Direction’s fifth album.

What do you think of “I Won’t Mind”?

Liam Payne Speaks Out About Zayn Leaving: “Keep Your Faith In Us”

After the devastating news of Zayn Malik quitting the band on Wednesday, the rest of the group have been a little quiet.

Harry tweeted the short but sweet: “All the love as always. H”

Niall posted a few tweets too, one of which said: “Been a mad few days and your support has been incredible as per usual ! This in turn Spurs us on to make the best music we possibly can”

Louis also wrote a but, saying: “Been a crazy couple of days but know that we are going to work harder than ever to deliver the best album we’ve ever made for you guys !”

However, it’s Liam who has come forward with the most to say.

Writing a message on TwitLonger, he said: “In light of recent events I think this is important to say. For the past five years now I’ve been part of something so special I don’t think any of us really understand, something that can mean the world to people and put a smile on the face of our fans even in the darkest times.

To a lot of people it’s just a bunch of silly kids in a band but to the people involved it means so much more. This last week has been some of the worst times, possibly the worst it’s something we are all deeply saddened by.

It’s sad to think for the time being we won’t grace the stage as five bros or have the same fun on a tour bus or laughs in a hotel together that we have over the years but I’m super sure us and zayn will always remain the closest friends.

I guess what I’m really trying to say is it’s far from over. When we very 1st became successful we all agreed that one direction had become much bigger than each individual member that’s why I feel like right now it’s ok to be sad and upset but I do ask everyone who is a fan of us to please keep ur faith in us
He added: “I’m sure there’s a lot more to come all love Liam
