Our favourite One Direction boys (not that there are any other One Direction boys) have teamed up to raise awareness of world hunger in a new video.

The clip above shows Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam looking down the lens and giving important messages for the viewer.

Harry says: “One third of children in sub Saharan Africa are malnourished.”

Zayn adds: “Big corporations avoid paying millions to Africa every day. If we stop this, all of Africa could have enough food to eat.”

The video is for the launch of Enough Food For Everyone…IF – a new campaign from a coalition of 100 charities including Save the Children, World Vision, UNICEF and Oxfam, to help raise awareness of how governments can unite and tackle world hunger.

Other celebrities in the video include Myleene Klass, Orlando Bloom and the one and only Bill Gates.

And if One Direction doesn’t do it, the charity has a nifty trick up it’s sleeve.

This evening at Somerset House, the world’s first 3D Twitter-powered projection will take place on the front of the venue, kick starting a high profile awareness drive. The aim is to lobby world leaders to take action and combat world hunger ahead of the G8 in June 2013 in Northern Ireland.
